Experience 4 volcanoes in 7 days in the Andean Araucanía, Chile.

The 4 volcanoes in 7 days experience in the Andean Araucanía offers a fascinating experience for lovers of adventure, mountains, snow and the best coexistence. Below, we present the program for the 7 days, 6 nights that we have prepared with the details of activities day by day.

Day 1

Pick up at Temuco airport and transfer to Malalcahuello, Curacautín commune, where the trip is approximately 1 hr 40 min. Arrival at Casa Río, room delivery. Free afternoon to enjoy the facilities. Dinner at the lodge.

Day 2

Ascent to the Lonquimay Volcano 2,865 meters above sea level. From the summit you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Sierra Nevada, Llaima, Villarrica, Tolhuaca, Callaqui, Antuco and Lanin Volcanoes. Then you ski down and then return to the Lodge where you have the afternoon free to enjoy the facilities. Dinner at the lodge.

Day 3

Ascent to the Llaima Volcano. This great massif is over 3,100 meters above sea level, making it the second highest peak in the Andean Araucanía. Its steep slope and long snowfields make this a must-see for spring hikes. At its summit you can enjoy a spectacle of water vapor and gases coming from its interior, as it is the most active volcano in Chile. Then you ski down to enjoy a free afternoon. Dinner at the lodge.

Day 4

Day of rest, either enjoying the tranquility in our Casa Río Lodge area or organizing a walk (activity not included in the program). Free lunch (activity not included in the program). Dinner at the lodge.

Day 5

Ascent to the Tolhuaca Volcano (meaning "cow's forehead" in Mapudungun). This 2,806-meter-high stratovolcano is one of the oldest mountains in the region. Its eroded slopes of glacial origin and the large water sources such as Laguna Blanca and Malleco that surround it make its summit one of the most beautiful in the Araucanía. Then, ski down to the lodge. Free afternoon and dinner at the lodge.

Day 6

Ascent to the Sierra Nevada Volcano 2,554 meters above sea level, inserted in the Conguillio National Park. To reach the summit, you must cross a beautiful forest of Araucaria, Lengas and Coihues. Once at the summit, you have beautiful views of lakes and volcanoes. Then you ski down to the lodge, free afternoon and dinner at the house.

Day 7

Pick up and transfer to Temuco airport.
